 You don’t have to be “advanced” to take this class – it’s designed to advance your diving, so you can start right after earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification. This course substantially increases your comfort while building your confidence. You expand your scuba skills from the basics to the more advanced and it shows in your diving. This course builds on what you’ve learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.

Prerequisites

  • Have your Open Water Diver Certification 
  • 12+ years old 
  • Completion of assigned sections in ADVENTURES IN DIVING eLearning 
  • Head & Shoulder Selfie
  • Medical Statement and Liability Release.  New forms are needed every 12 months
  • Be sure to answer with a YES or NO.  If you have a YES answer you must take this form to your Doctor to sign. This must happen BEFORE Aqua-Nuts Diving can take you in the water.  
  • Please email them to Aqua-Nuts diving with your photo.  Height, weight and shoe size are also required.

Basic Course $399

Included:

  • eLearning & Confined Water Instruction
  • Certification Dives (4 total dives)
  • Student Materials - Adventures in Diving eLearning, & Crew Pack.
  • PADI Certification Card
  • Tanks, Weights, and Belt
  • Use of Specialty Equipment (i.e., lift bags, etc.)

The Advanced Course is 4 Training Dives that introduce some of the more popular specialty areas of scuba diving. 

DEEP DIVE and UNDERWATER NAVIGATOR are required as well as three optional dives (listed below). To complete certification you must have a minimum of 20 dives recorded.

Note:

Each of the courses listed above, if taken as part of the Advanced Open Water Diver training, is only an introduction to the course. You may further elect to take any Five of the courses in full towards your PADI Elite Master Scuba Diver Certification.

Jasper:

Enjoy the crystal clear mountain lakes 2nd & 3rd week in July for amazing dives.

Referral Packet:

This kit contains everything needed to complete your Advanced Open Water certification dives with another PADI facility at your destination. This can be arranged on your own or with our assistance!


You will need

Personal Diving Equipment (may be rented):  Dry Suit, Mask, Snorkel, Boots and Fins

  • Dive Specific Gear:  Night Dive - Dive Lights (Primary, Backup & Marker)
  • Whistle & Signal Device (ie SMB - Surface Marker Buoy)
  • Transportation of gear and student
  • Meals 
  • Accommodations if required

Additional information:

  • Package prices are listed as per person and do Not Include - Fins, Boots, Mask & Snorkel (may be rented or purchased through Aqua-Nuts Diving) 

Learning Outcomes

Dive to a maximum depth of 100 feet / 30 meters   

  • Dive in environments equal to or better to that which you were trained to during your Adventure Dives
  • Participate in further training. Full Specialty Courses and the Rescue Diver Course
  • If you took the night diver as one of your options, you may continue your night explorations
